What are floors?
The surface your rangoli sits on: Gray Marble, White Marble, Glass, or Transparent. Transparent is handy for overlays — export the PNG and drop it onto greeting cards or photos.
What are preset rangolis?
Thirteen hand-designed starting points (Rainbow Mandala, Peacock Garden, Royal Lotus, and more). Tap one to load it onto the canvas, then make it your own — or tap "See step-by-step instructions" to rebuild it ring by ring.
What does "Surprise me" do?
It generates a complete rangoli from a random seed: a layered center medallion, concentric rings filling the canvas, and an outer ring of diyas. It keeps your current floor. Not quite right? Tap it again — every tap is a brand-new design.
How do I save my design?
Tap Save to Gallery. The gallery keeps a thumbnail plus the full editable design — tap any saved piece to reload it onto the canvas, or long-press to delete it.
How do I share or export my rangoli?
Use Export PNG to render a 2048 × 2048 image — with the floor, or transparent for overlays. From the step-by-step guide you can also export the full illustrated instructions as a multi-page PDF.
Does Rangoli Studio need an internet connection?
No. Everything is drawn and stored on your device and the app works fully offline.
