A festival date differs from my local calendar by a day. Why?
Utsav follows North Indian (Smārta / pūrṇimānta) tradition. Regional observance
can vary by a day.
How do reminders work?
Reminders are notifications scheduled on your device — one the evening before
and one the morning of each festival you enable. Turn them on per festival or
for all festivals in Settings. They work without internet.
How do I add a festival to my Apple Calendar?
Open any festival and tap the Calendar button. Utsav uses write-only access —
it can add events but cannot read your calendar.
Does Utsav need an internet connection?
No. Everything — the festival data, countdown, reminders, and settings —
lives on your device.
What data does Utsav collect?
None. No account, no analytics, no ads. See our
